A fantastic 3 cd compilation of Jack Bruce performances live at the BBC during the 70's, interspersed with 6 unreleased compositions featuring Jack Bruce, saxophonist John Surman & drummer, Jon Hiseman. Disc 1 features 9 tunes from September 1971 with the following lineup: Jack Bruce, vocals, bass, piano; Graham Bond, keyboards, saxophone; Chris Spedding, guitar; Art Themen, saxophone & John Marshall, drums. Disc 2 is from Old Grey Whistle Test concert in June '75 and features 8 tunes with the following lineup: Jack Bruce, vocals, bass, piano; Mick Taylor, guitar; Carla Bley, keyboards, Mellotron; Ronnie Leahy, keyboards & Bruce Gary, drums. Features the previously unreleased track "Without A Word". Disc 3 features 11 tunes from April '77 with the following lineup: Jack Bruce, vocals, bass, piano; Hughie Burns, guitar; Tony Hymas, keyboards & Simon Phillips, drums & percussion.
