MATTHEW GARRISON

2004 release. Matt Garrison known for his work with John McLaughlin and Herbie Hancock, and his ground breaking self titled solo debut, recorded live in an intimate studio setting in New York City on December 7, 2003. Matt is backed by some of his well known musical friends including Adam Rogers on guitar; some tracks feature Scott Kinsey, from Tribal Tech on keys, and JoJo Mayer on drums, others feature Jim Beard on keys, and Gene Lake on drums. Arto Tuncboyacian plays percussion, he and Matt also perform as a duo. Sabina Sciubba sings on two songs. Note: Matt invited me to the taping of this special event, I was completely blown away, he and the band just went for it on every song.
