2011 european release. British guitarist, Guthrie Govan is best known for his work with the newly formed power trio The Aristocrats. Erotic Cakes is Govan’s 2006 debut CD which is now once again available after being out of print for several years. This CD is a musical gem and will forever be remembered as one of the classic guitar vituoso albums of all time. Govan’s axe work dabbles in a number of styles including hard rock, blues but mostly hard edged jazz fusion on this instrumental release.
